Anhui FENGXING Wear Resistant Materials LTD. (hereinafter referred
to as "the general plant") founded in 1965, specializes in the
production of wear-resistant products such as various cast balls, units,
and lining plates used in the cement, metallurgy, mining, thermal power
plant and chemical industries.
In tracing
the source of the general plant, its evolution over the past three decades
represents an epitome of history for China's rural enterprises growth
from small to large.
 The business
was started by six people, which including Mr.Chen Zongming, in July 1965.
In mid-1984, it began to
research and develop wear resistant products. The net assets of the enterprise
increased from the original 5000 RMB yuan to 1.12 million yuan, with a
staff of 500.
In May
1984, the enterprise was renamed Ningguo County Shikou Wear Resistant
Materials Plant, with wear resistant materials as its major line, supplemented
by others.
In August
1987, the plant relocated to Fengxingshan, the seat of Ningguo County.
In May
1997, Ningguo County became Ningguo Municipality, so the plant was again
renamed, becoming Anhui Ningguo Wear Resistant Materials General Plant.
